You probably know that some of the coolest WoW vanity pets can be bought from the Blizzard online store. However, there are many cool looking pets that can be obtained in the game, by anyone, without paying anything. Of course, to add them to your collection, you must farm them yourself.
In this article, I’m going to point out 3 cool WoW vanity pets that can’t wait to join your collection, and how you can obtain them.
1. The Disgusting Oozeling. This pet looks like a little, green ooze, and it drops from various mobs in the game. It actually drops from an Oozing Bag, that various mobs in the game drop.
One location where this pet can be farmed is Swamp of Sorrows. The mobs you have to kill here are called Shifting Mireglob. Of course, the drop rate for Oozing Bags isn’t extremely great. So, don’t expect to find this pet right away. On my last session there, I opened 56 bags. The pet dropped for me after about 4 hours played.
The Disgusting Oozeling also drops from the oozes inside the cave of Mazthoril, in Winterspring. There are only 3 oozes inside this cave, and their respawn timer is one minute. I usually farm here when I have something to work on my computer. I keep my Hunter there, ALT TAB from time to time, kill the oozes and loot.
The good part about this pet is that it’s BoE, which means you can sell it to the Auction House. Since it’s a pretty rare pet, you can even sell it for 10,000 gold.
2. The Ravasaur Hatchling. Although this is quite a cheap pet and you can usually buy it from the Auction House for 2-300g, in case you want to farm it to sell it, or just in case there aren’t any at the Auction House, here’s where it can be farmed.
Out of all WoW vanity pets, this is not a very difficult to obtain one. It can be found in Un’Goro Crater, in a Ravasaur Matriarch’s Nest. The nest has a 6 hours respawn timer. It can be found basically near any tree in the middle southeastern part of Un’Goro, where the raptor camps are. I found it at (69,61) and (69,67) so far.
3. The Teldrassil Sproutling. This is one of the coolest WoW vanity pets in the game at the moment. It’s a little treant with a very funny animation. It dances and falls asleep. This pet is available at the Argent Tournament Grounds, for 40 Champion’s Seals, but only for Alliance players. However, it’s BoE and can be sold at the neutral Auction House, and that’s about the only way Horde players can get it. The price for it ranges from 5,000 to 10,000 gold.
